At Home In The Arts Summer Programs

Now in our 18th year of At home in the arts

Each year, we expand and build upon the art projects and presentations through the Monart curriculum. Our aim is to expose children to the arts of the world, from many cultures and continents, to explore the similarities and differences, emphasizing their common humanity. Children love exploring different materials used to create their masterpieces.

In the summer programs, children enjoy more time outside for free play, as well as tending to our planter garden. We germinate seeds, plant, water, and watch them grow and thrive. We attract pollinators, search for their eggs, and care for caterpillars throughout their cycle, releasing dozens of butterflies each session.

We encourage children to bring an ingredient item from home so they can follow a recipe to prepare a salad or dish to share every Friday with lunch. The summer program is a delight! Your children can look forward to a relaxing summer filled with learning surprises!
